Hooray for May!  So glad you have arrived...life at cup creek valley and possum holler have been quite busy lately...work, crafting, kids tennis, work, crafting, kids golf, crafting, end of school programs, cleaning, work, crafting, Easter celebrations, etc...you get the idea...well anyway...it seems April and May are now the new November and December with schedules overflowing...I have been trying out featuring my finished goods on earlywork mercantile...head on over and check it out....amazing talented people out there...our Maker is pretty crafty himself,  how he gave each and every one of us different gifts and how that creativity abounds...that was evident at this years quilt show in Paducah...what an amazing array of talent, beauty, creativity and all kinds of goodies to build your stash (or retirement savings as I refer to it...my husband just laughs)...I found goodies from Lisa at Primitive Gatherings, some Kathy Schmitz patterns I had been wanting for a long time, and discovered a new designer to me Lori Smith ( From my heart to your Hands), I purchased her Mrs. Lincoln's Sampler Quilt pattern...can't wait to experiment with it...I also had to add to my stash a book by Dawn Heese, Geese in the Rose Garden....anyway, I ramble, hope you all have a Blessed day...check out the goodies at earlywork mercantile and an updated post over at thecrookedstitcher.blogspot...
thanks for stopping by
Melody
